Start the New Year with Peace & Tranquility

Thanks to the ongoing work of the Upaya Zen Center, guests at the Hacienda Nicholas Bed & Breakfast have the opportunity to incorporate some meditation and/or dharma talks into their vacation time in Santa Fe.  The Upaya Zen Center is a Zen Buddhist practice and educational center dedicated supporting a sincere and dedicated practice community, compassionately engaged with the real world.

Meditation takes place at the zendo three times a day.  Choose between the morning 7-8am sit, a brief mid-day sit from 12:20-1pm or the 5:30-6:30pm session.

There is also a dharma talk every Wednesday evening at 5:30.  On January 19, for example, you can be enlightened by Roshi Joan Halifax and Evan Thompsen discussing "Continuous Practice, Continuous Mind".

Guests are asked to wear dark clothing and to avoid wearing shorts or sleeveless tops.
