Beethoven Marathon this Weekend

Many of our guests at The Hacienda Nicholas  Bed & Breakfast Inn are big fans of classical music and will be thrilled to take part in the Beethoven Music Marathon, taking this weekend at the historic Lensic Theatre.   The Musical Marathon will begin on Saturday, May 21 at 6pm and continue through Sunday, with a performance at 2pm.

The highly acclaimed Santa Fe Symphony and Orchestra will be joined by pianist Anton Kuerti, an Austrian virtuoso with an unparalleled ability to render the works of Beethoven as they were meant to be played.  You will be dazzled on Saturday with his interpretation of Beethoven's Concerti 3, 2 and 4.  On Sunday Kuerti will play Overture to Coriolon as well as Concerti 1 and 5.

Keurti is a highly sought-after musician who has performed throughout the world, including tours in Japan, Russian and much of Europe.  It is a great honor for the Santa Fe Symphony to be working with Keurti, who has previously performed with the likes of the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony, the Philadelphia Orchestra and more.

Tickets prices $20-40.
