Notice to all Denver Area Guests of Hacienda Nicholas
To all of our past and future guests of The Hacienda Nicholas Bed & Breakfast Inn hailing from the Denver area, I want to let you know of a not-to-be-missed gallery opening. On Thursday, June 9 the highly-acclaimed Robischon Gallery will host an opening for artist Ted Larsen, who happens to be my husband. The gallery will re-open after several months of extensive renovation, providing a stunning setting for this new body of work.
Larsen uses salvage materials to create two and three dimensional art that is both minimalist in nature yet also full of content and character. The works range from being highly formal in nature, to being very playful and just plain fun. But hey, I am not writer of fine art. Best to read the words of Elizabeth Sussman of The Whitney Museum, as she describes the work of Ted Larsen much more eloquently than I could ever hope to do.
