Summer Music Scene at The Santa Fe Plaza

Visitors coming to The Hacienda Nicholas Bed & Breakfast Inn this July and August will want to plan on hanging out on the central Santa Fe Plaza to soak up some local flavor and great tunes. Now in its 9th year, the Santa Fe Bandstand shows attract big crowds of locals and visitors alike. Enjoy jazz, soul/funk, rock and roll, reggae, Latin, R&B and more. There are also dance and juggling acts during intermissions, and some special performers catering specifically to children and families, such as the beloved Clan Tynker Troupe.

There is plenty of room to sit back on a bench or on the grass, with an ice cream or cool drink, as well as a large open space for those who want a closer view and to get down and boogie. Santa Fe Bandstands kicks off on Tuesday, July 5 and goes on for seven weeks, with both daytime and evening performances. The daytime shows are Mondays and Wednesdays from noon to 1:30, a perfect time to plan a picnic lunch on the Plaza. Evening shows are from 6pm-8:30pm, Monday through Thursday nights.

Check out the schedule of over 75 different performances so you can take advantage of these FREE musical events. July highlights include:
