Cook With the Chef Series at the Santa Fe Farmer's Market
As we are big proponents of organic and local foods here at Hacienda Nicholas Bed & Breakfast Inn, we happily recommend all events affiliated with our famous and fabulous Santa Fe Farmer's Market. Besides selling the best local and organic produce of the area, the market is active in promoting all aspects of healthy eating and lifestyle.
One example of this is the weekly "Cook With the Chef", happening every Thursday at the Railyard from 5:30-6:30pm. This event features a number of the city's top chefs demonstrating their signature dishes as well as discussing their recipes and local food sources. There is also an opportunity for participants to ask questions about the recipes discussed.
This Thursday, August 4, you can get an inside look at Amavi Restaurant with Chef Megan Tucker. Next Thursday's event features the cooking of Louie's Corner Cafe, with Chef Alea Jensen.
This fun and informative series is presented by the Santa Fe Alliance, a group working tirelessly to promote a local and sustainable economic community.
The Santa Fe Farmers' Market is also open in the Railyard on Saturday mornings, 7am-Noon.
