Christmas Music in Santa Fe

The Christmas garlands and wreaths are up at The Hacienda Nicholas Bed & Breakfast Inn in anticipation of a full house over the holidays.  Christmas in Santa Fe is a truly magical time, with farolitos lining adobe walls and rooftops throughout the town, the Plaza ablaze with glittering lights, delicious New Mexican holiday cuisine, and world class music concerts taking place throughout the month of December.

One such event is the Santa Fe Symphony's Christmas Treasures Concert, taking place on Sunday, December 15, at the historic Lensic Performing Arts Center.   The concert, featuring Resident Conductor of the Phoenix Symphony Joseph Young, includes such holiday favorites as Arnold's Holly & the Ivy, Silvestri's Suite from Polar Express, Delius' Sleigh Ride, Anderson's A Christmas Festival, and Berlin's White Christmas.

Tickets prices range from $20-$70 and may be purchased online at the Lensic Box Office. The concert itself begins at 4pm, but included in the price of admission is an informative Preview Talk which begins at 3pm.
